How much landing funds needed

Hi all members
recently got visa by PNP.
I want to know how much landing funds I need. As my sponsor shows funds on my behalf when filling AINP (family stream) forms. We are three family members including me. As per CIC rules I need $14000 as landing funds.

Could any member advice me is it ok if I take $5000 with me.
Or
If I take bank draft or travel cheques for $14000, is it possible to transfer that funds back to my country India?
I want to send back funds because my family financial condition is not so good. And I give back that money which I borrow from my friends.
Please advice me as soon as possible because I already booked my tickets for april 20.

can u tell how .when u submitted your application to CIC .Hae u showed your bank statement ?if yes then how much money u shown .thx

As per your situation, i suggest to carry Demand draft of required amount. Show the same at airport. U do not need deposit the same in Canada rather bring it back and cancel it.
