Hi there,
I would like to know what the minimum funds are you have to have in your account to obtain a study permit for a 4 year university degree which is split in Bachelor and Master?
Do I need to prove that I have enough for the bachelor degree only when applying for visa (as it is optional if you continue to obtain a master) or do I have to provide information to the Canadian government that there would be enough funds for a master degree as well?
For instance if the there is a course in electrical engineering split in:
bachelor (2 years) 20,000$
master (2years) 25,000$

Would Canada want me to have 20,000$ or 45,000$ when applying for visa?
And how much funds in terms of costs of living per month does one has to have to satisfy the authorities and the visa office? Where can I find the information (link?)?

Would there be any reason for a Canadian visa office to reject an application even though proof of sufficient funds have been provided ?

Thanks for the info guys

Cheers

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
u need to show the immediate available funds for the first year of education. Since its a four year program u can show your batchelors tutuion fees. That is 20000 CAD. And u need to show the living expense only for the first year. which is 10000 CAD. So in total 30000 CAD for visa is more than enough.
But u need to show the sourse of income for your sponsor to prove that he can afford your subsequent years tution fees and living expenses.

What do you mean by sponsor? Mom and dad who pay for everything? In that case I dont have that luxury as I am my own sponsor. So at the end I do need to proof that I have sufficient funds for the entire 4 year course, dont I?
