I got accepted to university of Calgary for Msc for fall 2014 with full funding from department through TAship.(CAD $24000 for first year, which is more than tuition+CAD 10000)
Now everyone tells me I should also show some bank balance of my own. Can anyone tell me how much bank balance I have to show?
I only have about CAD 7000 in my account in Bangladesh so anything more have to be from my parents.
I also have a brother who lives in Canada with work permit(not PR or citizen) . Is it a good or bad idea to show him as financial sponsor?
