did mine in Toronto $211 CAD total for everything.
Can't remember the breakdown, think $11 was for bloods. $140 for the doctor and $60 for the x-ray but I'm not 100% on that.

Got it all back through work insurance

@ purplesnow, How did you get the money spent on a private medical back from work insurance? Who is your insurance provider?

I have a Health Spending Account through my work benefits, claimed it back on that. A HSA is used to contribute towards medical costs not covered under the health insurance.
Depends if your company gave you one and also how much they put into it for you.

190 CAD per person for everything in Toronto.

About CA$140 in Jamaica per adult including everything (the doctor's visit, chest x-ray, and blood tests for HIV and syphilis.)

We had our medicals done in Canada at fort mac in Alberta and in total for medicals x-rays and blood test it cost 600 Canadian dollars , so more expensive to have done here .

In UAE, I paid 250 CAD for each of us.

Hi purplesnow, Can you please share the clinic where you did it?
Thanks

The rates are obnoxious to say the least

I have booked my medicals in Bangalore for CAD 80 per person and the hospital in one the costlier ones in Bangalore.

Can someone tell me what all do they check during the medicals? Just want to know to be mentally ready

In Los Angeles.
375 USD = 494 CAD for 1 Adult. Included everything.
US Medical system is very expensive, so nothing new.

I am extremely pissed of right now. Because together with the tests and all we ended up paying more than 1400 cad. I earn 900 a month and this is a good standard salary.

My medical was rejected because I was assesed only for tenporary residence so I am beyond frustrated.

If I have to redo the exam I think we might go to Poland..do a vacation and still end up paying less then in croatia.

So so pissed off !!!

That is indeed expensive! I don't think that you would have to redo the exam. If you redo it , then again CIC can reject the application. There is quite a mess with the medicals in CIC, and quite a few forum members were rejected for the same reason, even though others had the same medicals passed. People were contacting Health Branch, London with regards to this manner. I think CIC is aware of the issue by now, and is aware that the fault is on their side. So I don't think you would have to redo the exam.
