5.1. The number of selection certificates referred
Within the categories within the powers of selection of Quebec, between 41 000 and 46 900 certificates
selection should be issued in 2016. The number of people selected for each
categories should be distributed as follows :
- Skilled workers : between 29 000 and 32 000 ;
- Business : between 6 000 and 8 000 people ;
- Other economic immigrants: between 800 and 1000 people ;
- Refugees selected abroad : between 4700 and 5200 people ;
- Other immigrants: between 500 and 700 person
