How many months is CSIS security background checking backlogged at this point?

Hi,

No updates as of today. The lawyer is waiting for the response from a custom ATIP request we made more than 3 months ago!!! Once we get the response, who knows when, we will prepare for the Mandamus.

However with all this Corona panic happening in Canada now, I am certain that all applications will get delayed one way or another.

Is there any update so far?

Nop, no updates, still waiting for the test. It upsets me seeing candidates who applied in 2020 and already got their citizenship. Sometimes I feel like going in front of the parliament and setting myself on fire, maybe that will get their attention.

I am in Vancouver. I swear if I was in Ottawa tho I'd go down and protest in front of the parliament to maybe get their attention.

Yes. My case is in Federal Court and I also have the reasons from IRCC.

In nutshell, IRCC said that they were lazy and would process the application asap now but since covid 19 is here ... they can't help but to stay lazy until pandemic is over I guess ... lol
