How many Intl. Students are now over 470 points???

I am international student in FSW with 486 not qualified for CEC as my canadian experience is only two months.

Me too, but in my case I have 11.5 months Canadian Experience

International undergrad + 1 year exp + clb9(most likely), crs 470+ = a lot of them
International undergrad + 2 year exp + clb9(most likely), crs 490+ = a lot of them
International grad + 1 year exp + clb9(most likely), crs 490+ = a lot of them
International grad + 2 year exp + clb9(most likely), crs 510+ = a lot of them

So...likely the cutoff will hang around 495 for a very long time. Best chance for inland ECE is either oinp, get a master or 2 year exp.

my thoughts exactly - I didn't realise there were so many (based on this thread/ no other evidence) international students with >470 points.

Yup, I'll be a 489 coming January and my PGWP expires in June
Hope I get AOR and R10 check in time so I don't have to take a break from work. If I had to stop working for a month, it would set me so back

Now, my 2 yr exp will be in Jan 2017. But looks like they already update my score to 2 yr exp in Dec. I have 1 yr foreign exp too.

Quick question: What should I do if I get ITA before my actual 2 yrs exp (as per offer letter dated 8th Jan) ? Should I accept that or wait for another ITA from or after Jan ?

Any suggestion, please ?

You can accept it but do not submit your eAPR until you actually complete those 2 years of work experience.

"If you get an ITA, you can apply. Period.

The only exception to that would occur if you got points 'in advance' as you indicated in your previous message. In such cases, one has to wait until one is eligible to claim those points and then submit the post ITA application. One need NOT decline the ITA received based on legitimate and accurate information provided in one's application. This shouldn't be a challenge anymore as one has up to 90 days for application submission after receiving an ITA.

What that means in your specific case is that even if you get an ITA anytime before completing 2 years of work experience, you need not decline that ITA but wait until you complete 2 years at work before submitting your post ITA application. You can also choose to add a note in the LOE to highlight this reason for the 'relative delay' in application submission.

According to your knowledge if that is the case than all of the intl students should have got ITA without moaning. Because you are mentionong 1-2 yr graduates meaning only 15 bonus points so before nov 19th they should have been like.

And they should not have moaned and if lots of them were in the range of 480-495 then why scores were mostly in the range of 450-470 with 1500 ITAs and even with 750 ITAs the scores were mostly in the region of 480s and mind you at that time LMIA was also giving 600 points

Agreed - although wasn't there some mention of something along these lines on the Nov/19 announcement?
