Hi,

I read my oath invitation letter (oath is april 6th in Ottawa) but it does not specify how many people we can bring.

For those who went through it, how many people were you able to invite ?

Thanks !

I only brought my wife. But some people brought their whole family (spouse, kids, grandparents, etc). I think as long as you keep it below double digits, it is ok.

There is no limit but if hall capacity exceed then they don’t accommodate who are last in line. ( they ask guest to from line before calling applicants for oath)

When the door opens they will only allow 1 guest per attendee. They will then allow additional guests to enter if there are still available chairs. This is for the Scarborough Center.

A reasonable number should be accommodated. Reasonable cannot be something like 37.

Thanks! I plan on bringing 12 people so It will go fine.
With that many people, I'd be prepared to figure out which ones are left in the hallway should the room be full and they allow fewer family members in.

Can I go alone?

Thanks guys, it is not that big of a deal for me, I would like to do it alone...

I think it depends on the location. Scarbrough stated that each immigrant could bring 1 guest - to ensure everyone could have someone with them.
