How Many Days to get Canada PR from USA.How much it cost if i go from lawyer

I am planning to apply for canda PR from USA.I have couple of questions
1.How many Days it will take to get PR card ?
2.How much lawyer will charge for it?
3.Which is the best way of approach ... lawyer or own?

It will take 16-25 month to apply as Skilled Worker via Buffalo, NY.

There is no reason why you should hire a lawyer. The process and the forms are all very straight forward. Save the money and do it yourself.

With the new rules coming up on skilled worker, I would wait for the list of occupations and see if yours is on there. If not, you need to try to get a job and a work permit and get PR through a provincial nominee program after you have lived in Canada for a few months.

I need to know what all the New Rules for Skilled Worker and where can i see the list of occupations .can you please provide me the link so that i will look into that and currently i am working in IT

The new rules are that instead of just qualifying on points and being able to apply for PR as a skilled worker and wait your turn, even when it takes 6-7 years from some countries, in the future, there will be a list of professions and if yours is not on the list, you can not apply as a skilled worker but have to go another way. The list isn't out yet.
