How Many Days From Medicals Submission To Passport Request

I am a May 2014 CEC applicant and just received the notification for medicals. I would appreciate if anyone can give me a ball park figure about how many days it would take for CIC to ask for passport once they get my medicals.

To be honest it's been very different from case to case is what I've noticed on this forum. I submitted my medicals in October and I'm still waiting for the passport request

I hope you get it soon as well because for me medical request came after a year as I applied in October 2013. But yeah it's definitely making me lose my patience now. Need the passport request soon

People can you please give a rough idea as to how long it takes to get the PPR request after the medicals?

Hi

No one can give you that information, so no sense in asking, it can be from weeks to months. I was 3 months from MR to COPR, other have been less others have been longer.

If you are worried order GCMS notes.

In my case, I completed my medical on Sep. 18th and got the ppr on Oct 23rd. If this helps you to get any idea for your ppr waiting time.
What I can say is keep patience and enjoy the wait. CIC never follows a strict rule on processing time.

In my case it took 4 months. At least 2 months because the officer responsible for my case left according to case notes.

Thank you everyone for the information. I ordered GCMS notes on the 4th of November and have been waiting since. I heard it takes 30 days but I shavent received them today even.

Hi,
why do you need that? Everyone's case is different as many other told you before. As an example one applicant's waiting time is 30 days, and another ones is 6 months. That's why such info is absolutely irrelevant to everybody.
