How many days do we have to mail the passport after PPR email?

Is there a time limit (say 30 or 60 days from PPR email) within which we can mail our passport? I am asking because I have work trips already planned for next couple months...and if the PPR email comes in that time, I can only mail my passport only *after* my trip. So I am worried if I mail my passport in too late...

There are no traditions in CIC.. The below quote is from the PPR email:

The requested information/documents must be received in our office within 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.
