How many applicants employer did CIC call?

Hi,

My friend is in Canada and has2 yr work experience here and before that another 2 years in his home country, can you guys confirm if they call the employer in home country or not ? has anyone been in this situation yet?

It is possible. But CIC will only do anything of this sort if there are any reasons to doubt the authenticity of work reference letters.
