I received the Biometrics letter via mail, bu by the time i received it, the date on the letter was expired, but i went for the biometrics anyway and it was done. We emailed CIC that we got the biometrics done. But, there was no response from their end.
Now, the same thing happened for my medical. I received the letter via mail. I scheduled my medical appointment and got it done on 23rd sept. Again, this letter too had expired, since it was sent via mail. We have emailed CIC that we are done with medical too... so, now what? What's next? How long do i wait? My husband has already received an email that he's eligible to sponsor.

have you tried to call CIC call center, they can help you with this situation. This happened to me once during spousal sponsorship where the letter didn't come to us in time. If you call there 1800 number and explain the situation they will be able to help you

Well you are asking how will they help you yet you are asking on here what is next.

Ask an agent to look at your file to tell you what the current status is

I don't know where you are located but why didn't you give them your email address to send the requests to at the beginning? With regular mail often taking longer than 30 days to get to 3rd world countries why would you take that chance. Just the fact that you have said you have emailed them you know that is the best way to communicate with them, why didn't you give your email addy on the application . Maybe you missed that part of the application. I suggest you send them a message giving them your email and requesting further correspondence be sent there. Also set up a CG Key and ECAS account to monitor further progress of your file.

Best of luck.

So, I'm from India. An email address has been supplied on our forms. And not just mine, my husband's email address was also given on the form. Now, i do not know why in the world they chose to mail the instructions to us. According to my agent, we will just have to wait and see what they reply. But, i do not know if that's the case.

Hmmm, doesn't sound like your agent is helping you too much. I can't offer any more suggestions. Hope it all works out for you. I hope you gave an explanation of why you were late in submitting the forms.
