How long will it take to ask for the passport

Hi, I did my medicals on 05th of May 2009 and I would like to know how long will it take to ask for the passport for the stamping.

I'm a Sri Lankan too but applied in London, I did my Medicals and paid the RPRF on 8th of July and waiting for passport request.

How much did you pay for your medical in Sri Lanka, in London its a rip off.

it takes about 6-8 weeks normally as far as i know. i believe that seniors can tell more appropriately.

nope.. India is a different ball game.... they send medicals forms and PPR together in India. hence, it takes about 5-8 weeks in India...

it's different for different Visa offices... wait for someone from Sri Lanka and London to reply

I am also same as tilan here in SL, done my medicals and RPRF paid 2008, still waiting!! not sure why???
hopefully something might happen!!!

@ lenkact If you have done your madicals in 2008, you may have only few monthes for the deadline, since your medicals will expire in one year time.

you should e-mail your visa office and check what it with your application

My medicals,i believe i think expired. i did fax, inquired before medicals expire, but chc sl said file is on officers desk for review.
Still waiting!!!!!

Hi Linket,

I m also waiting for PPR. My time frame is as per below:

Applied : Aug 08
AOR : Sep 08
Medicals, Travel history form & Funds requested & Done: Oct 08
Updated Proof of funds requested with RPRF : April 09
Updated Proof of funds Sent with RPRF : May 09

Now its two months after RPRF and i m waiting for PPR

Now how long it will take as my medicals are 9.5 months old now

But we can wait only

Aor: June 2005
Jan 2009: sent AEO
Medicals Requested: 03 Jun 2009
Medicals Received by CHC: 10 June 2009

Still waiting for PPR.

Visa Office: Singapore

I'm a bit frustrated at how slow they are. Even with the AEO, the process has taken longer than many of those who have applied and received their visas recently.

Any comments?

I think here in SL CHC very busy, i am also been waiting almost 4years now, medicals done RPRF paid, matter of fact my medical i think expired, I think thats how it is, we have to be patient, i applied 2006 Jan
medicals done June 2008, and RPRF paid July 2008, but still waiting.!!!
