How long will CIC take to return my passport?

be patientHi all..I sent my passport with Canada Xpresspost post on May 29th, they couldn't locate my package for a few days and as such my package wasn't delivered until June 4th. There hasn't been any movement since. It was to get my PR Visa and COPR...weird question, but can they change their mind??
Passport sent to IRCC: June 1st, 2019
Passport received by IRCC: June 4th, 2019
Application finalized and approved: June 6th, 2019
and its been a week that the tracking number has not be activated yet.
Should I call them? don't know what to do and i have a flight next week....

I submitted my passport on 27th May, and it was received on 28th May, and still waiting.

Are you inland? When did you send the passports to Ottawa?My application was approved yesterday. I didn't even got an email that it did. I just checked and I saw that it was. So just waiting on the passports now.

They don't. You need to keep checking on Canada Post using the tracking number on your return envelope. Btw, did you write your address on the return envelope? I did not, as the instructions stated.Just out of curiosity...does anyone know how they notify you that your tracking has been activated?
