How long will CIC take to return my passport?

Yesterday I got my visa approval please anyone knows when will I need to collect my passport from the vfs?

I am an inland applicant.
Sent passport to Ottawa: 24 NOV 2018
Passport received in Ottawa: 28 NOV 2018
Status Changed on CIC Website: 5 Dec 2018
Return envelope tracking activated: 5 Dec 2018
Passport Received: 6 Dec 2018

I sent my huband’s passport to ottawa on nov 19th it was stuck in canada post strike for 10 days and it reached ottawa on nov 28th. Still haven’t heard anything. It was spousal
Sponsorship application. Outland applicant. New delhi visa office. We already have tickets book for our trip on January 2nd. I am little concerned anything I can do to speed up the process or any other insight.

I think you can send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and ask by when you can expect your passport back. Besides, it will be a good idea to talk to Delhi-Visa Office.

I have applied for study permit And sent my passport to newyork location and status changed on December 5 with conterfile number.... so how long does it take to get back my passport because my flight is on 12 th December. Can please someone help me

Guys I got a mail that my processed decision envelope has been collected from the Canada Visa application centre but I haven't collected it yet. Please anyone tell me what should I do?

I've sent my passport on 21st Dec, reached there on 24th Dec. By the looks if it, it's taking about 2-3 weeks to get the passport back.
Anyone sent it in the past couple months?

Might take a week or 2, sent mine on December 17, got delivered on December 19, and approved on December 21 and return tracker activated on December 24, still not yet delivered tho because of Christmas holidays

Hi guys .. i sent my passport on the 22nd of January from Dubai to the Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi.. it was delivered on the 24th of January..
till now no news and the status is still the same!!
U think there is still a risk of not approving the visa at this stage????
