How long to wait til the visa issue (after PPR)??

I am wondering how long did anyone have to wait?

My passport was received by CIC-Detroit on October 12..exactly 2 weeks ago today. I just want to know what the expected wait time on this. I have not seen the kids in 3 months and I am very anxious!

Lots of people's experiences have it at around 2 weeks, but I would think it would depend on the office, as they are all different.

I just got mine back from NYC. It took about a month, but I sent it regular Canada Post there and they sent it regular US mail back (I'm already in Canada as a visitor), so probably 1-2 weeks of that was spent in the mail.
