How Long To Transfer From Sydney, NS Office To Local Office?

Hi all,

I had a chat with an IRCC call center rep last week, who mentioned that my file is in queue to be transferred from the Sydney, NS office to my local office (Calgary) for test booking. Any idea how long it usually takes to get issued a test invite from this point? Does it mean I'm in a place where I might get an invite soon, or does this stage mean that I'm still in for a long wait?

Some times it takes time, possibly thinking it depends on office/some other criteria/something else because my file got transferred only in Feb2021 even though i received AOR in Aug2020. Mostly its fast for most but rarely it might get delayed based on my case.

Also it doesnt matter since they are not sending any test invite within 1 year of application hence its fine even if they take 6 months. The real delay would be after the file reaches the local office if officer is not assigned or officer not reviewing soon enough. These are not in your control hence dont worry about these. Just wait and watch.
