Dear all,

It's almost two years (19 months), I've been waiting for good news from CIC Singapore. On November 25th 2013, they sent the letter for me to do a medical check up and asked me send many documents such as police records, Form appendix A, IMM 5669E, pictures, pay for Right of permanent resident fee, also send my original passport with all of that.
In my letter said " Your application for permanent resident visa is nearly complete, In order to proceed towards issuance of your permanent resident visa with minimal delay, you must follow the steps outlined below.
Notes: This letter is not a guarantee that a permanent resident visa will be issued. Upon receipt of items requested below, a final review will be done to determine if you meet all eligibility requirements an are not to Canada.

So I already submit all those documents and sent it on December 30 2013, documents arrived in Singapore January 6th 2014. Now its already 3 weeks my passport in Singapore. I am wondering and check the cic website, it says still "in process". My question is how long to process PR visa when the passport is already in the office? Do you think they will reject it?
Until now there is now news from them or the status is not changing yet become "decision made". I am a bit worry.

Is there anyone could give the answer? Thanks a lot.

I think you need to sit down and just take a few deep breaths. They only JUST received this information and must still check your police clearances since you stated that they were just submitted received on the 6th of this month. To expect them to move at miracle paces isn't logical although I understand WHY you wish them to. Don't rely on eCas for your answers as they don't always update regularly and you might get your COPR and PP back long before eCas shows anything other than 'in process'.

I would give it a few more weeks anyhow, then if you still hear nothing, send a case specific email to your VO to see if you can get an answer.

Good luck
