How long to get the passport back

I had sent my passport April/05 and still havent heard back from them, how long does it normally take to get it back with the visa.

Same boat, My passports reached Detroit office on April 04 10AM still no news yet.

It will take approximately 2 weeks before they send it back to you.

Be a bit more patient, they've only had it for about a week..

Should I instead apply to Buffalo?

I think normally it takes less than 1 month. I dont know why it takes mine so long.

Hey guys,

My lawyers have received my passport yesterday April 21, I had sent it on the 4th and the detroit office had received it on the 5th.

I will be landing on Monday YAY

Jeff - maybe you should send an inquiry to ask..

Ditty - not sure if it was written in the letter they provided you, but mine said to specifically the office that was processing my application (Detroit) because that was the only office that could issue you your visa.
