How long time normally takes for 2nd AOR

Normally how long an applicant has to wait to take any acknowledge letter after sending the complete application? During this period can any one check his or her application status?

Hi,

I got my second AOR after 7 days sending my complete application. at this stage, you will be given a different File number to check your application status online. So, Yes you can check your application status once you get your AOR with new file number. From what I have seen in this forum, application processing time vary depending on different visa offices, and it took more than two months for some applicants to receive their second AOR.

Does this mean if we check eCAS with previous file number, we cannot expect to see changes such as the update saying "received by Visa office"?

you can check the status with first AOR also, well i have also sent it on 1st April but still waiting no second AOR

Hi,
Most of the times, NO.you can not access to your full application status with previous file number.
once you send your full application to local chc, they will issue you new file number. with that, you can check your application status.

Thanks Ice Cube & tzakur for your replies! I have just received an email from CHC that they have transfered my file to another visa office and have informed themna bout this fiel transfer. But I have not received any new file number. Should i wait to get one from my new visa office?

Yes, you will get a letter with a file number by post. anyways, don't you have any number starting with B... on top your email? this is your second AOR you are waiting for .right?

The thing is I have applied through an immigration representative, so they have forwarded me the email. But, I couldn't see any file number there. I have one number starting with B, which is my previous file number, but not any new one so far.

HI,
You will get new AOR soon by post. As a suggestion, keep very close contact with your Imigration Rep. for all communications by CHC.
You will get a response by chc soon.

Hello!!!
In my case it took 11 or 12 days. And up to medical request took less than 3 months. I wish all of us good luck!!!!!!!
