How long the payment be valid?

Hi

After I paid sponsor spouse outland application fee, process fee and landed free (1040 CAD) throught https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en, I realize there is something we need to do before sending the application. Now i am concern if my payment will be expired or not when immigrantion officer start process our application. Anyone knows that if the payment has any expiry date?

How long a delay are you looking at? I think that they will refund the payment if is not used for a long time but I don't remember just how much time they give you.

I am looking at 1 month delay, waiting for wife's upfront medical exam. I dont worry about refund etc, the thing that i concern is that they eventually return the whole package by saying "your payment expired"
