Hi everyone,
I have applied to WES (World Education Services) to get my education certificates evaluated (for Express Entry). It has been 21 business days since they received my documents. I think 8 business days back they changes my status from "document under review" to "evaluation in progress".
On their website they say it takes 20 business days.

Did anyone recently did WES evaluation for immigration purpose and how long it took?

Thank.

Hi, which of the documents did you sent to WES for verification? I'm also planning to get my ECA done. But I'm confused which documents I need assessed. I have a Masters degree. Should I just get assessment done for my Masters certificate and transcripts??

Please share your experience guys (anyone). Thanks!

As far as I know, you need to evaluate your all certificates (if you have Masters, then get both Bachelore and Masters evaluated).
You pay a single fee to WES, if you do both degrees together.

Check required documents on WES.ca page, for the particular country where you got each degree. Transcripts usually have to be sent by the university. Just follow the instruction on their webpage for the relevant country.

*Update

August 19 - Delivered WES
Sep 19 - 20 Business days
Sep 28 - Received Results online
Oct 8 - Received results by mail (North India)

Thanks! It seems a bit confusing because I've seen a few threads where it says ECA for only the highest degree is enough because you get points for the highest degree you have. I'll probably do ECA for both my Bachelors and Master degree certificates if the fee is same.

Its quite simple. If your degree and masters are from India, it is prudent to do ECA for both since some institues are not recognized or the masters might not be equivalent to a Canadian masters.

However, if you have an American, British or Australian Masters from a regular university, it is equivalent to a Canadian masters and hence just the masters certificate is good enough.

My wife got her Degree as well as her masters certified since she studied in India. Since my MBA was a British one, I did not have to send my undergrad for evaluation and it all worked out fine.

Me and my husband's documents were received by WES on the same day. My husband received his report in almost 12 business days, while I am still waiting for mine, even after 20 business days. I also tried to contact them through email, but haven't received any reply. I have made my EE profile but cannot submit it till I get the ECA. I am also worried whether there is any issue with my documents or is the delay normal?

There are reports in this forum of it getting delayed upto a month. Its normal.

Finally received my ECA after 30 business days!

June 1 - docs Delivered to WES
June 5 - documents under review
June 9 - Evaluation under review
June 14 - Review completed and notified via email.

Overall, the process was very quick and efficient by WES. In-case you have any questions, it is impossible to reach them over the phone, so best is to email them (takes 5-7 days to respond).

Hello all,

My WES status shows "Evaluation report being prepared for delivery". What does this mean?

Thanks

It seems they're preparing to send it to you.

Mimi2017.. Are you sure.. and will I get it on email?
Well that's what "delivery" means. Also, they explain all the statuses on their website. Check their FAQ if you're in doubt.
They will send a digital copy per email and ship a hard copy by post mail.
