how long still???!!

hi everyone...

i had applied for Pr in sept 04...and got the letter to upgrade my file from canadian immigration dept in 08 oct..which i did send them by jan09....it was consider tht with in 3months one get to hear from them about the visa application but its now almost a year and not heard anything from them...can anyone tell me how long does it take to hear if ur file is accepted or otherwise?...i do have a canadian agent and he too doesnt have clear idea...can anyone tell me appro time?anyone who is in same boat as i am?

Usually it takes about 3-4 months. But I have heard cases like you, that people wait for the answer already long time, so don't worry. Maybe you can send them a letter?
