In most cases, the first step will be a status change in ECAS to Decision Made, has it changed for you?
If yes, this is a good sign and you are most likely in queue for the oath invitation. As mentioned above, it could take a couple weeks, if you are lucky, or months depending on how busy your local office is. Just take your 12 year mark as a starting point, is you are still within it, to estimate when you will get invite.
If no, the wait is even longer since verifications of your application are still in process.
Yeap my status changed to decision made on January 7 .. a few days after my test. Worst case scenario I can always advise them that I'm travelling and they can reschedule it... there is no much choice here I guess ....In most cases, the first step will be a status change in ECAS to Decision Made, has it changed for you?

I hope so too ... 12 years .. I would die ...I hope that you meant 12 months instead of 12 years
My three months will be on April 4th ... worst case scenario I can reschedule ..It should be WITHIN 3 months after DM.
So there is no really a pattern .. could be 2 weeks and could be 3 months ...I just received my test invite today - I wrote my test 3 weeks ago on Feb 12 and DM was Feb 13. The Oath is for March 29 so almost a month's notice between the letter and actual date. From others that have reported here, it looks like there are at least 2 weeks to 3 weeks between your letter and the date of the actual oath.
If you're asking how long is it gonna be between the invitation and the ceremony, it's actually just two weeks for me and many other people. So it's somewhat short notice. That's why you need to notify them for any trips longer than 2 weeks.Hi Guys,
I had my test on Jan 4th and now waiting for an oath invitation. Im planning a trip at the of March and i dont want to miss it! How long of a notice will CIC give for Oath Ceremony? I havent received an invite yet.
PLEASE HELP!
i see some people who had their test later than me already had their oath ceremony. So i guess at this point its just a guessing game.... or you are suggesting i have to contact them right now and advise them that i have to go for one week?
