Your in the home stretch, if no problems turn up in the background check, or criminal/security check, should have a request for passport somewhere under 6 months.

Look I just posted a question. Maybe you can help. I submitted my application August 2005 in London, I had a letter asking for any documents not submitted must be submitted now, I read this as a letter to people using simplified process but that didnt apply to us. Did you get such a letter and if so what did you have to provide? Can you answer me on the question below yours I'm Zsa Zsa

Canada what a fantastic place, to anyone who is thinking of the move "go for it" but hang in there it will not happen over night.
i am hoping i am on the home straight now and i am looking forward to a long and happy life here in canada.
one piece of advice i would give is to make sure you have a solid job offer before taking the plunge, not all employers are as helpfull with the whole process.
Good luck to everyone
Paddy (the irish guy) as i am called now lol

You shouldn't have ignored it. It is probably a 90 days letter stating that you have to update your application, ie what you have been doing since you submitted the application, probably requested new police certificates., new IMM8
