The time to get PPR request after Medical Recd line in online status depends on your background check .Usually it should be within weeks for Manila applicants.

hi chanselay
base on medical examination INSTRUCTION letter i received last december 28 2011 " YOU ARE RQUESTED TO MAKE ARRANGMENTS FOR YOUR MEDICAL EXAMINATION WITHIN 30DAYS FROM RECEIPT OF THIS LETTER"."IF YOU DO NOT UNDERGO THE MEDICAL EXAMINATION WITHIN THIS PERIOD,WE WILL ASSUME YOU ARE NO LONGER INTERESTED IN PURSUING ADMISSION TO CANADA AND YOUR FILE WILL BE CLOSE", well i done my medical last jan 10 2012.

i submitted my family's application in VO CEM on December 19, 2011..as indicated in my timeline to the left... after 2 months, i recvd my MR and AOR..

the actual time frame between application and MR/AOR is 2-4 months..so unless this time lapses, please do not contact them or it will cause significant delay (based from experienced forummates)

I'm confuse, I'm going to submit the application to CIO next month which is April and my wife is giving birth in July. They might
request for a medical by month of May and June. Do I need to postpone this because of chest xray. Are they going to consider this. It might cause delays?

no.. just go with the flow of application process,,undergo medical if requested,,then when the time comes that your wife gives birth, just declare the newborn baby... you won't know the exact time when they will send the Medical Request, so if you will postpone it, and the MR comes a bit late, then that causes significant delay..

don't worry about the X-ray..they will place a lead-cover around your wife's tummy to protect her whole abdomen from radiation..(no harm to baby, see?)
