it varies... some people in 3 months, others may take like a year.
For my case, I did my ME in early september 2012, and no PPR still.

It depending on how fast the security and criminal check are done.

Now that GCMS is online and easy, it's probably a good idea to give it a try.

It should definitely not take that long. In addition to requesting GCMS notes, you should think about contacting your MP.

i saw lots people got their PPR within a month after ME in May, so i guess for people got their ME recently will got PPR in 30 days or so.

The only concern i have is how do i know if CIC has received my ME or not? how can i check with them?

My doc send me an email stating that the MEds has been send to CIC through E-med. I checked my status on E-cas and it said "medicals recieved".

May 2nd -> Medicals rewuest received from CIC

May 6th-> finished doing the medicals

May 16th-> Ecase status updated to RECEIVED by CIC.

Hi curiberry,

This is really annoying that CIC is taking so long to respond after your medicals. You are a March'12 applicant. As other applicants have suggested, you should definitely send the online GCMS request (https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/client.do).

At the same time you may want to send an email to CPP-ottawa (ottpilot-immigration@cic.gc.ca) asking them the reason for this delay as its well over the standard processing time of 13 months. Asking an MP might help too. They usually call up the CIC and get the same info you get through GCMS - but they get pretty quickly, i guess.

Did you lived in several different countries before moving to Canada? That might be a reason for delay, but again your GCMS report will tell you more precisely.

Androme - your doc really sounds awesome. Who was your doc? And did they ever told you that they will be sending the blood sample to Public Health Canada...This is what my doc keeps telling me and giving me as a reason for delay.

About Curiberry - yea - the applicant seems to be CEC-March 2012 applicant.

My Doc is Lyndon Mascarenhas located at St.Claire west and Avenue. He did mention that he will have to send the blood samples to Public Health Canada. However, he also added that it shouldn't take more than 10 working days. I ended up getting it within a week ofcourse. Yeah, he is realy good. Cheers!

I already got GCMS notes, eligibility, criminal, medical are passed but they havent start the security one yet which is due May 31,2013.
I dont even know what they check on security...
I am thinking to send email on June 1,2013;asking them due date has been passed what is going on blah blah blah.
I lived in Canada since I was 15 years until now (26 years old) never lived in any country over 6 months.
(I am from South Korea and I lived there until I was 15 years old)
