Hi,
I have mailed my canadian visiting visa application along with my Indian passport(to go for H-1 visa stamping in canada) to seattle office in Feb 2012 first week. It has been reached their office on 6th Feb 2012. But, I did not hear anything from the consulate till now. I sent an email asking for the status of my application, but no response to my email from them. I tried to contact via phone but there is no phone enquiry facility also for status tracking. I am trying to track by the return USPS confirmation number every day which I have sent to them along with my package, but could not find anything on their site. I am not understanding what they are doing and what is going on. The consulate processing is very bad. most of my friends got visa on same day for in-person interview, but for mail in applications do they need these many days to process?? I thought I will get it in 2 weeks.
Any one is there in the same boat??? could you please tell me any one has faced same kind of situation and got the passport with/without visa finally.
I am worrying about my passport. I will be happy if I get my passport back. I dont care about the visa.

..did u send a fedex return envelope and did they used it? it's been more that 30 days for me including weekends though..no news...
