how long it takes after the citizen ceremony to get a passport?

my friend had the citizen ceremony in november 2013. in december he applied for a passport and till now he wait of his passport. can anyone tell me please how long was the waiting time for a passport? thanks

10 business days for walk-in and 20 business days for mail-in application. he should check with passport canada if his passport is waiting at the office and he wasn't aware.

he called the office and they told him his application is in process ....

verify with guarantor and references if they got any calls. it never takes this long.

it is a good idea to consult a lawyer for this "problem"?
because 4 months waiting time for a passport is realy to long.

Don't waste your money - just check with passport Canada. No need for a lawyer - he's Canadian he has the right to find out where is passport is
