How long it take to recieve an acknowledgment letter under CEC?

Hi,

Does anybody know how long normally it take to receive an acknowledgment letter under CEC? I submitted it in July 2011. On website, it said that should be not more than three months. Thanks.

Yes. by seeing existing data on trakit it looks like on an average it takes around 2.5 to 3 months...But again it depends on case by case.

Thanks, Duke, maybe I worried too much, what happen if I put down mailing address wrong? Is there any way to double check with them at this point?

I don;t know about this case. But it's been assumed that you will provide correct mail address. Else you if expect information and supposed it is delayed then you will contact to them and they only they might currect the address.

But now a days, when they send AOR theny also send notification in email too if you have provided.

Sorry another damn question, what AOR stands for?

Everyone starts out as a newbie AOR = Acknowledgment of Receipt (of application & fees).

Where exactly did you find this information that Acknowledgement should nto take more than three months, I really could'nt find ti anywhere. Can you please post the link here.
