HOW LONG IS THE WAIT WHEN YOU GET YOUR SECOND MEDICALS?

my time line is long...applied in Feb 4th,,approved March 2nd 2011,,March 31st application transfered,,Rabat received April 8th 2011..interview Sept 20th,,called to re-do med's,,my already did them 3 weeks b 4 the call b/c was asked at interview to go ahead and do them,,tomorrow will be 14 weeks and NO news yet in process since Oct 20th 2011 when he did his second medicals,, I don't understand does my hubby have to send in his reciept,,I know the first time I sent it off with the application but there is nothing saying about the second medicals,,I e-mailed the embassy,,I called and had my MP send an e-mail 4 weeks ago and NO response...

Don't worry Hayati your timeline is not that long.. mine has been two years+ although don't worry i don''t think you will have to wait much longer cuz check the email or letter they sent you or ur husband it would say how long it will take. For us we got an email both me and my husband after his interview about 2 and half months later saying to send so and so documents n medicals and at the end it said that when we send everything off it will take up to four months to be finalized and not to contact them unless its important. Also regarding the doctors letter I don't think you should worry about it cuz the doctor will send the medicals so when it reached there it has ur file number and so forth. I contacted my MP but she doesn't do much for me.. I'm sorry to say but she makes me more stressed than i should be

well this is the thing,,my husband or me never received anything such as you mentioned,,no letter,,,he only got an e-mail when his interview was and some documents and police record to bring,,after his interview she told him to re-do medicals b/c his was expiring in 1 months time,,he did them and after 3 weeks they called him to re-do medicals and he told her that he has done them 3 weeks ago, so since the call in Nov we heard nothing,, :'( guess we wait and see,,this process takes a big toll on a person...

Yah the waiting kills, but for your husband good thing is that he was asked for his medicals to be redone.. for us we had to wait another 2 and half months until we got a reply cuz his was a security interview and the decision had to be made by Ottawa. So now the waiting is on lol.. hope something happens sooner though I would love it if he was here for the baby's birth

liza5 after my husbands address disappearing over the weekend,,today he got the call from the embassy,,, he got the Visa,,this journey has come to an end for me,,,I wish you the best and hope your hubby will get his call soon too. my husband re did his medical, submitted it with his passeport and the unpaid fees. Two weeks later he got his request to pick up his passeport the same week.

I think it depends from an embassy to an other. His app was in Lima, Peru.

It tooks two years for the entire process, but once he got his interview request everything unrolled really fast. A month and a half later, he received the passeport from the day he got he interview request.

Hey Sara, I would love to hear more about your process with Lima. Inland/Outland etc.
My fiance hopes to get Multiple Entrance Visa..and we will get married in Canada in the summer. If denied will try single entrance.. and is still denied.. We will get married there... then the application will be sent. Any Lima specific tips/hints? Anything would be so appreciated! Cheers,

Thats Greatt! Exactly.. i know ur gona count down the days till u see him inshallah! Just wait till then when u see him come out of the arrivals gates... everytime my hubby came to visit i would count down the days until i got to see him and hold him! Its a great feeling to know now u can start ur life together God is great so we will get through this and one day its all gona be a memory!!
