If you are in Canada, and have already submitted your application however you now require urgent processing

First, check your application's status online. (It can take up to 6 weeks for your application to be recorded in the system.)

Based on its status:
Hide: If your application is already in process
If your application is already in process

Contact us by email or fax to request urgent processing.or u can check cic website but other think if i go in canada i will apply urgent PR card

By email: Send an email to CIC-Telecentre-Contact-PRC-CRP@cic.gc.ca. In your email:

Include all of the information we ask as indicated in the body of the email.
Attach scans or copies of your proof of travel and proof of payment. Each attachment must be 2Mb or smaller and in PDF, JPG, TIFF, DOC or DOCX formats.

Expand: See information that must be included in the email
The content below is offered in PDF format. For more information or to download the appropriate viewer, check the Help page.

By fax: Print and complete the Urgent Processing Template (PDF, 531 Kb) and send it to 514-496-8670.

What happens next: We will call or email you within two business days to tell you whether it is possible to speed up the process.

I am anxiously waiting for PR card. At the time of landing, immigration officer told me that it will take 4 to 6 weeks. I have to go back my home country and will return permanently after 3 months.

Same thing for me, the officer told me the same, I'm going away as well. Soon we get the card.

Even i for me also officer said 4-6 weks and i am waiting for pr card. My landing one week after yours.

I am still waiting for mine, however I am still within the processing window. Landed on Nov. 19, 2012.

Hopefully it will arrive this upcoming week.
 
I received mine the 7th January. Times are accurate.
