How long is AEO valid

Dear Canada121,

I was awaiting for your reply. I have one more query re. my studies. I had to come back to India after completion of my second year full time work placement without collecting my results since my student visa expired and was not keen on pursuing further education at the same time the college gave me a provisional certificate stating that i am awaiting for the results since I submitted the assignments before coming to India. But I had a doubt I may be referred in one or two assignments. During my initial meeting with my consultant and while he was doing my initial assessment, I mentioned him that though I studied i do not have PG diploma certificate, since I am expecting one or two assignments referred so how can i qualify for PR though I got a indeterminate job offer from a Canadian employer referring to the UK experience I had, for this the consultant replied that my assessment for educational qualification will be done based on my Bachelors degree so it is fine if iam unable to provide my PG diploma certificate and he was saying I may not be getting points for the PG diploma certificate.

He said we can move ahead based on Bachelor's degree, one year full time experience I had in UK during my study period and with a approved AEO, but now he was in two minds whether should this one year full time work experience which was part of my study be considered to qualify for PR which was being mentioned in my previous post.

I have informed my consultant re. the replies I got for my queries I had posted so that he is aware that the paid work experience during study is also considered.

Anyway I have submitted the referred assignment once again and expecting it to be cleared wherein I will get my certificate. I need your guidance if I am unable to clear then is it okay as to what the consultant has suggested.

Dear,

Funds query has already been answered. I already said, that yes, no proof of supporting funds required with AEO, but they still ask.
As to how much, please see the link that I posted.

Your (Full time) Bachelor degree makes you eligible.

If you get additional qualification documents, you get extra points, else you don't,,Simple!!

Hi RChettiar,

Did you apply for an AEO yet and at what date?
Because it takes 6-7 months these days to get an AEO approval and in that time you can gather your points and workexperience!
So, maybe once your AEO approval is in you immediately can start the visa procedure!

I applied for AEO in mid- week of March, my employer received acknowledgement from Service Canada on 30th March stating that my AEO is under process and it will take 18-20 weeks time frame, but so far no response.

Any time frame re. your AEO.

Hi RChettiar,

our AEO was received by HRSDC/SC on May 18th.
We also got the message that it will be 18-20 weeks instead of 5-10 weeks.....
There's a forummember in topic "Arranged Employment Opinion 2010" named rKo who send in his AEO first week of Feb and got his approval on the 16th of Sept!
So, I think your answer is coming soon!

Very interesting, your employer applied on March 19 and acknowledgment letter on May 18th. One month on the way (courier and then queue to be reviewed or let's say acknowledge). This means huge number of application for AEO.
This again means there are lots of either job vacancies or too much interest for immigration, whatever the case the back log has been transferred from CIC to HRSDC/SC!!!
