As many have said, you can leave once you have your PR.

However, consider the time, effort and money that your employer has put in to get you your PR. If you leave, they are highly unlikely to ever sponsor anyone in the future and the pool of willing employers shrinks again. While you are under no legal obligation to stay, morally you are screwing your employer over a little.
I do consider, I work here for 5 years almost and I am ready for a change too. I have put my time, effort and money as well.

I had to promise I will stay for a long time (but just verbal), I don't think that is ok?? I had no choice but to say yes
Unless there is a written contract, there is no legal binding for you to work for your employer for X months long. I don't think verbal contracts are applicable here. Once you get a PR, you can resign, serve your notice period and then leave on a good note, I don't think this would have any repercussions.
