How long for open work permit with inland sponsoship- visa exempt country?

We know that they say it takes 4 months typically for a open work permit to be issued with an inland application. Just wondering if this is usually the case? We are approaching the 4 month deadline before my girlfriends visa runs out. It's a pretty standard realationship with lots of proof to back it up so there shouldn't be any set backs. Thanks.

It's 4 months for everyone. Whether you are visa exempt / not visa exempt doesn't matter. Your relationship also isn't material.

I applied in the same time as for PR in January 2014, I got it in February 2015 took long time for me , now I got it for 2 years

My understanding is 4 months is the standard.
