How long for initial receipt email?

How long did it take from mailing your applications, for you to receive your first email saying they received your application (Not AOR)?

I sent mine on the 14th and am wondering if it got lost...

did you send it thru canada post, if yes, do u have a tracking no?

the transit time in max 3 days if u sent it thru canada xpresspost, its max 1 day is its thru canada post priority.

Okay Canada Post says Mike K received it on the 19th. Is the tracking what all you guys are looking at when you say they got it? They don`t send an email? I feel really stupid but I was starting to worry they did not like something about my application and were going to reject it.

yes, thats the guy who receives at CIC. So you can be rest assured that your app has reached CIC. They wont send any email confirmation. Please update the google spreadsheet now.
