BC pnp application sent in on dec 21st of 2009. Received file no. at the same month. Received nomiation on July 7,2010.
I am wondering how long does the PR process takes after I send in the PR application? I am currently outside of Canada, in process of getting work visa to go to Canada.

You can see the processing times for PNP's here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/04-provincial.asp

thank you for your reply Leon. I checked out the link you posted above. Is that means after pnp nomiation, the PNP PR process timeline has no difference compares to regular PR application? Besides, I am currently in Taiwan now. but my comman-law spouse(dependent on my nomination Certificate) is working in Korea since we left Canada at the end of last year. His contract will not end by the end of this year. And at the same time I am requested by my boss to go back to Canada as soon as I can. In this case, my spouse can not go back to Canada at the same time. So I am thinking about gettting my work visa now, and apply my PR inside Canada. And my spouse will apply her entry visa at the end of this yeat. Even though my spouse is not coming with me at the same time, as a dependents on my nomination, should my common-law spouse have her the police background check and medical done before I send in my work visa application? Or it is a better idea for her to wait, and have her medical and police check done before I send in the PR applicantion after I go back to Canada? Final question, after I received the nomination, can my spouse apply a Canadian Visa base on my nomination?

If you can get nominated under a PNP, they can make it easier for you to get a work permit. You could get one without needing an LMO. I don't know if being nominated makes it easier for your spouse to get a TRV. It is possible. If you apply for a TRV for your spouse as you apply for your work permit, your spouse could get a TRV valid as long as your permit and once in Canada, your spouse can apply for an open work permit based on your permit.
