How long does status change after Biometric are given?

I took my biometric today and I was wondering when would the status be changed at the website. If someone has taken this process before and want to share the experience, I would really appreciate it.

It doesn’t right away change. Although, they don’t update the status but they are reviewing your documents and biometrics during that while. It took me 6 days to get the message ‘Correspondence Letter’ meaning thank you for giving biometrics etc and then after 2 minutes they mention if it is Passport Request or Rejection. Good luck!

All depends on volume of applications received, visa type you applied for.
Generally, the Biometrics are updated on same or next working day.

Check online on VFS tracking site, if IRCC have received your Biometrics.
You can also check online, after you login, under "Application information", the details are updated for Biometrics.

Biometrics status (present under "Details about your application status") may or may not change, as for many, there is no change in status even if visa is approved and stamped.
