How long does it take to get permanent resident cards after landing

Hi guys- please share your experiences regarding the waiting periods for the permanent resident cards after landing?

Officer at landing told me 2-3 months

Mailed out to me May 25, still waiting, hope to get today/tomorrow.

No, urgent doesn't work for new applicants.

I am moving to Calgary in July, and still waiting for PR cards. Moving company said they need the PR cards to move the stuff to Canada from USA. Does anyone know is that mandatory to have cards in hand to move the stuff? Appreciate your input.
