How long does it take to get news about PR QSW Application ?

I submitted an application for Permanent Residence Application under the Quebec Skilled Worker class in the First week of August and still hasn't had any AOR (acknowledgement of receipt). It's been almost 2 months and I am starting to get worried. Is it normal that it takes so long for the government to get back to you? How long does it usually take to get the news that they started processing your file? I already tried to link the application many times, but it says it can't find it.

Its totally normal... normal processing time to get AOR after have sent application is 4 months you are 2 months away to get your confirmation

Thank you so much for your swift reply. Also please advise me how long will take the PR application from the United Kingdom and after the AOR CIC will ask for the Medical Certificate? Is upfront medical examination valid for the PR applications, so I can save the time for further procedures.

We've been waiting for CSQ...
Its almost 2 years since we've submitted the documents.
Such a long process.

Wrong thread. But people wait even 4years to get csq. You can always call to check.
