guys, I'm waiting for my GIC confirmation from Scotia. I can only apply after that. Probably around 17th July. I will then apply and do biometrics etc. My flight is booked for Aug 23rd. AM I TOO LATE?

17th July is a bit late, assuming you get in 20 days, which is not a guarantee. You will get it by 7th of august, assuming it takes 7 days for stamping visa, you will get your passport back on August 14th. This is assuming that nothing in the process goes wrong or gets delayed. It's tight, but I would suggest you be prepared to defer your admission.

Immigration Canada says the processing time for student direct stream is 3 weeks. AND if you are rejected, your application is transferred to the regular application pile and reconsidered. search for (evUy1p2muVQ) Student Direct Stream on utube.
