How long does it take from RPRF payment to PR or passport request?

my frnd had paid his fees on april 28..no news for him yet..i paid my fees on june 5..no news from cppo..so i think we shud be patient...

Has anybody hear anything?? I am being requested medical exams, but I sent them over a year ago. It seems that they cannot find the exams. With such a disaster they have no wonder why. Anybody in a similar situation?? How long does it take to finalize the process from this point??

RPRF requested and paid for 16May 2013. Started processing our file on 22 May 2013 and status says In Process.Was asked on the same day to renew principal applicants medical file by redoing the chest x ray, was done on 10 July 2013, become worried and sent an email to CPPO last Thursday got this response back, our records show that your x ray was received and your medical file is now finalized and extended.What does this mean that we close to the end now or is there still a long wait ahead. :-\

Applied on 14th Feb . Am a Saskatchewan pnp.
Took medicals on 18 april.
In process on June 18 .
Paid rprf on july 6.
Status " in process"

Meanwhile I applied for a Open Bridging Work permit on 1st August. I had to cuz I had a closed work permit. My company amerisource bergen has shut down... Had been sittin home since 2 months waitin... Hence lost the patience and applied for work permit... Heard a "buffallo guy " got request yesterday.... Dont know what's up wid ottawa !!! Waitin nd some more waiting !!!

medical: June 2012
Request for RPRF and additional documents:March 2012 and paid in march
They recently updated my file saying we started processing your application on July 29,2013 but i'm thinking they might ask me to do medical since medicals only last one year. If they ask you to redo, then they have another year from the time they recieve it to make a decision.

I am also in the same boat. I have paid the RPRF on June 15th. Nothing after that...even when I check my case online it still says Medical Received nothing else.... is that normal? I see lots of people posting their updates based on the ecas but I have been seeing only the Medical Received line nothing else. I am worried little bit. As to how will it take to the the Passport request.

On the side note: what does COPR means? Lots of people are using short forms which i do not know... this kinda sucks..
