how long does it take from AIP to landing notice

Hi all, i saw lots of people recently have decision made on both side right after AIP and then few days later they receive landing notice. However i got my AIP on May 4th and only decision made on sponsor side so far. Is there anyone who have experience about that and let me know how long does it take from AIP to landing email in this case? BTW, i am in Toronto and Oct 2018 applicant. Thanks.

I’ll bump this post as I’m curious to hear other people’s experience. I received AIP on May 17 after getting SA on March 11. I’m august 2018 applicant and I wonder how long it takes from AIP to DM on average.

Depends on the case. Some people get it the next day and some people wait for way longer. We had to wait for 4 months after AIP to get DM.

Thank you! I have 10 weeks remaining to the 12 month mark so I hope it won’t take 4 months lol. The wait is tough.

I had to wait for 13 months and after it reached the 1 year mark it became super stressful. But I hope you wont have to wait for too much longer.

Usually DM comes pretty quickly after AIP.

For some people however there were lengthy delays, often due to the security check taking longer than usual (this will heavily depend on the country of origin of the PA).

Hopefully France shouldn’t be too much of an issue. I really hope it doesn’t go above the 12 month :/
 
We had same experience. My husband get AIP on April 4, 2019 and I got SA and decision made on April 3, 2019. My question is why my husband is not yet having a decision made? Why it is taking so long because I saw others with the same timeline as mine already have a Desicion made just few days after AIP. Thank you.
