How long does it take for PR in express entry

Hello everyone, I have applied for pr under express entry on May 18 and so far after that the medical is the only thing which says passed. Does anyone know how long will it take for pr.

in most cases it takes around 6 months in total. If you are of the may batch it might come in this month if the BG switches to in progress for the second time.

Appreciate your reply. I am checking status of my file almost everyday and once i submitted my file the medical status changed to passed in two weeks but since after that review of eligibility is in progress and background check not needed at this time. I am worried now as the background check status did not even changed once

this is good for you that your application showing in process , i submit my application in march and i am still waiting any good reply and there is not any update. though they issue me a BOWP.

it did not even go in process? I am not sure about this case but i saw it once of twice on this forum just look at other cases and how those developed.

Unless they promissed in Expess entry to get a PR in 6 months, for me it was 12 months, but finaly i got PR.
So it can be a longer period that your application says" background check".
I finaly stopped checking my online application, because it's a stressy time to check every day and seeing nothing happens.
