How long does it take for IRCC to send an Acknowledgement of Receipt of Biometrics to applicants?

Dear All,

I am inquiring on the time it takes for IRCC to acknowledge receipt of the Biometrics and /or medicals. I did my biometrics on Tuesday 03rd September but since then, I have not yet received a response.

Check your MyCIC account details section, it should say Biometrics - Completed/Medicals - You have passed your medical exam there
CIC does not send any email or acknowledgement for Biometrics, it is automatically updated on your account

Wow, congrats NzKhn upon having gotten your COPR. Thank you too for the prompt response. However, for my case I applied via Provincial nominee. Hence it implied that my PR Application had to be paper-based.

It is after IRCC acknowledged receipt of my PR application that I was sent an email notifying me to link my paper-based application on line, which i did on August 15. Hence I am waiting for them to update my online account as it is empty at the moment.

May be when they update, I will be able to see the required information.

I am also a Provincial Nominee but my CIC application (yes it was Express Entry) was online from the beginning?
Never had to link my provincial application, only upload my Nomination certificate when I submitted my CIC application.
