How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

I sent my passport on Oct 18th too.. 6 weeks!! ..How much longer? What if its an emergency and we need to leave the country? This is ridiculous..

Please keep us posted. I am also waiting for COPR from CIC.

My timeline is below -

Passport Request: Oct. 31 2013
Passport Sent: Nov. 1 2013 (A copy of passport) CIC received on Nov. 4 2013
Decision Made on eCAS: Nov. 2 2013

I called CIC last week to check my status and they said I should wait for at least one month to receive a COPR letter.
My call was to the CIC call centre in Montreal so they couldn't access to my file then.

Cross fingers on all of you here.

I track our return envelop it just activated today.
I sent our Passport last nov. 13 and they received it
Nov. 15 . And I'm happy coz take only 2 weeks if
Gods Permit.

I just Recieved an Email from CIC about my VISA Stamp inquiry

"Please note that we are unable to estimate the remaining processing time required for finalization of this application, however this process could take up to 8 weeks."

i sent my passport just yesterday.
I applied PR in CIC-O but it is the CIC-Manila asked for payment of RPRF. After paying RPRF CIC-Manila, i received an email from them, they asked me to send my passport for Visa Stamping.

My friend received his PR Visa from CIC-Manila and she also applied in CIC-O. She only wait 3 weeks to received from the day she sent his passport.

I would like to invite you to be more patient. I am in a same situation but I think we have no choice and we have to be more patient. We have been in a long journey from beginning.
I am sure it will become for use soon and this long journey will finish.

I sent mine and spouse passport on Oct 30'13 and it received there no Oct 31st 2013 for the visa Stamping purposes......But till now we hadn't get back our passports..Its being a month and still waiting....plz do suggest how to send an enquiry to them about this...

Hi guys,

I'm in the situation.
CPP-O received my passport on 22 October, and I didn't get it back yet.
It seems that the timeline in November is longer than usual.
Please keep us updated if anyone of you got it back.

Congrats! My passport received on Nov/22 by CPP-Ottawa.
