How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

@Transformer : cpp Ottawa send email also when they send the passport back. Or you are talking about mail tracker?

I see people getting their PP back in 9-15 days. Exactly 3weeks by today since Ottawa got my PP, but no show.
Can someone help calm my annoying anxiety? Is it wise to mail them or keep dying with anxiety?

Did you enquire with email about ur PP? where did you send mail box or courier ? are you in canada?
 
yes im in canada...........i sent it to them by private courier

Ottawa sent me a generic email yesterday stating that they sent my passport back to me

my tracker has also been activated

Mine was received on July 12. No news as of now.

Mine was received by Ottawa on the July 15th :-\
 
mine was received on july 8, heard nothing until now

am 2 scared they lost my passport

Guys you need to relax <---- coming from the most panicking person in this forum :)

Here is the deal though. They got my passport in February 11th and they returned it on April 4th. We are talking about 7 weeks of waiting. first of all if your tracking code shows that your package was received and signed DOES NOT mean that the proper personnel got it. Mine was received and signed on the 11th and when I emailed them they said that my passport was received on the 22nd! So the calculated time should start from when they actually got your passport out of wherever the heck they keep them initially AND put it on the stack. Second of all it is not that easy to lose people's passports, You send your passport through registered mail, as long as it is received and signed by CIC it is unlikely that they will get lost! It's not like they receive our passports and play Frisbee with them :) Send a return envelope with your passport, keep checking the tracking number of the return envelope (once your passport is with CIC) and hope for the best. I personally abused the tracking number and Canada Post customer service, it was so bad that the customer service dude told me "Sir please stop calling for this tracking number we have no trace of it yet!". So if there is someone who understands your frustration, anxiety, and panicking, it is moi.

I wish you good luck guys and your are almost there, your passport is on the stack waiting to be penetrated <--- no pun intended :)
 
The main problem here is the uncertainty in how long it takes.
CPP O doesn't seem to have any requirement of First Come First Served.
Looks like they pick up passports at random, so some people are still waiting from June (just like you waited from Feb to April) and some people are getting passports back within 10 days!
CPP O (and CIC as a whole) needs to try to follow first come first served as much as possible, instead of random processing
 
Passports requested :23rd July 2013
Ottawa received Passports : 24th July 2013 @ 3pm.

Lets wait and see !!!....
 
anyone help? i got CSQ last september. PR application made to CIC in january. Meds request done in Feb and sent in. Got email to pay for FDRP in june . no answer till now. any updates? Ecas status is still application recieved since jan 3rd 2013
