It is. I suggest you apply for one, like right now (since they accept online application). I'm assuming you have a Canadian mailing address, right?MSB_Boparai said:is it global case management system?
wht would they do? any email for them?
yes my address is local in canada.asbereth said:It is. I suggest you apply for one, like right now (since they accept online application). I'm assuming you have a Canadian mailing address, right?
Basically, the notes would have a very detailed information regarding your case, but you have to wait for about 30 to 35 days before you can get them, and the notes are current up to 7 days after you apply. So let's say you apply for your notes right now (which would be May 7), then your notes, which you will get maybe on June 6, will have information on your file up to around May 12 or 13.
Apply right now, talk to your local MP tomorrow (just call them, and tell them you want to inquiry about your immigration case, they're usually very responsive).
Also, did you check your eCas? Some people mentioned that, if you have both your home and mailing addresses show up, it means your COPR is ready to go.
I see. I saw my friend's eCas status (he already got his PR), and there were two columns of addresses side by side (mailing and home addresses). People usually got both columns either after they received their passports, or the immigrant visa has been stamped on their passports.MSB_Boparai said:yes my address is local in canada.
when i check the ecas site. i see the address and status says decision made. all I see is "Your current mailing address" nothing more than that
Did you confirm that your passport was delivered? Did CPP-Ottawa reply to any of your emails? Maybe it's not a bad idea to apply for GCMS notes now (I'm assuming you have a Canadian address?) to see what's going on.vella said:ANY GOOD NEWS?
My money, I don't know what's going on. It seems to me that those that got added to 'priority list' might have had their passports misplaced or missing or something (God forbid). This is crazy. I hope you get your passport back soon. I thought I already waited too long (since people who sent their passports to US visa offices got their passports back super fast, like in 10 days), but some of the applicants here have been waiting for 8 - 10 weeks, and still haven't heard anything yet. I just wish that CPP-Ottawa would just say something like 'background check is ongoing', or something rather than being completely silent.mcdimples said:Hi asbereth,
Do you know where to get the contact information for MP? I'm under AINP, my passport received by CPP-Ottawa office on Feb 19, 2013 and until now I haven't receive it yet. I sent them emails but I only got 1 reply after sending them 8 emails. It says that my application was added to piority list. I don't know what else to do...

Anyway, you can try finding your local MP by entering your postal code here

And I suggest you also apply for GCMS notes tonight (since you already have a Canadian mailing address, all you need is fill the form out online).

Just out of curiosity, is your passport full of stamps, and have you been doing a lot of travels outside the country within the past 10 years? They may have conducted an extra background check after they received your passport. I'm not sure. I just wish they could be more transparent with what they're doing. Let's wait a month for your GCMS to see what's going (and hopefully you'll have received your passport by then).MSB_Boparai said:Yes I sent first email on 25th March and they said they have got my passport and in process
than I sent a second one on 10th April.... NO reply and than that 13-14 emails with NO reply. and on 25th April they replied again saying its in process and we have attached you in prority list.
Now its 6th May
My passport was delivered on 18th Feb @ 7:15 am and signed by some "S Yohannes"
My employer want me to travel as he is setting up another project in US and Italy... and I really dont knw how long this would take. without passport.
Free GCMS notes and local MP would only benefit those residing in Canada. I'm sure there is a way to obtain GCMS notes from overseas, I'm just not familiar with the processuslover said:What can I do about my 10 weeks waiting? I am in US.
