How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

sent passport on March 22th
just got passport back on April 9th

all from the beginning the same address

even other messages were weird,
it was: appl. received => in process => appl. received => decision made

obviously sometimes they don't update properly, so don't worry..you turn will come up

Did you see an extra line added showing your home address? (not the mailing one which has been there since beginning)

my address has been changed on my ecas......

Yes, It added in the home address. At the same day, the tracker got activated.
I looked at my visa. The visa issue date is 27 Feb 2013 but don know why they sent me on 8 April 2013.
I am really no clue what they r doing....

During the day time logging in to e-cas every two hours to see if my home address has been updated. In the evening, every 30 mins checking out CP tracking tool to see if my tracker has got activitated.

Thanks to CIC and its chaotic system in place, this has become my routine day in day out.

I hear you ... I am in the same situation right now.. I am really thinking of going to ottawa and staging a protest outside CPP-O ..This is bullshit some people are getting there PP back after 2 weeks and for some it has been over 5 weeks.

It took them only 6 weeks to open my envelope ???

I got the same email last week ..They just reply to your emails once .

I was really worried because I did not send them returned envelope. so had no idea if it's lost or forgotten on the bottom of the huge pile of passports. I'm glad somebody have it in the hands
